The Lagoon 450 is the follow-up offering for the hugely successful 440, so it had big shoes to fill. Fortunately for everyone involved, they nailed it. The designers have stayed with many of the features that made the 440 so good, such as the signature flybridge and great sailing performance, and then improved on others, such as making it even bigger, rearranging the cockpit for even better space and access, and our favourite; the addition of a new lounging area forward of the saloon house. It really is a fantastic cruising catamaran.
Down below it has six cabins that boast a bathroom for each of the four main double cabins. There are two single cabins in the bow of each hull, perfect for a skipper and host, or that temperamental teenager.
The saloon is extensive and functional, with fantastic indoor outdoor flow to an equally extensive cockpit. There’s seating everywhere, including lazyboy type lounging chairs in the cockpit.
All in all the Lagoon 450 is a wonderful cruising catamaran, with everything a charterer could possibly require. Space, comfort, style, and sailing capabilities are all first class and certainly worth every penny to charter.
Yacht Capacity: Sleeps up to 10 (ideal for 8)
This yacht is ideal for up to ten people sharing six cabins. If on a skippered charter, this yacht is the perfect size for nine people plus a skipper where the skipper has one cabin and ten of you share the five remaining cabins.
Please note that one further person can sleep in the saloon.
