About Summerdream

Summerdream is one of our Jeanneau 57s which replaced the much loved Sun Odyssey 54DS, one of the most successful production yachts of all time. Thankfully the 57 is a worthy successor and moves the game on significantly. It has been described as a mini-superyacht thanks to its quality which is seldom found of production line yachts.

Jeanneau’s signature curved windows make an appearance which add to the sleek, slippery and stylish appearance. The huge cockpit is a highlight of the yacht with the companionway almost a cockpit in itself. There are two rear facing sun loungers either side of the companionway which combine with a large seating area with the helming positions located well aft to further increase the space available. Finally a folding transom completes the amazing cockpit on this yacht providing a brilliant swimming platform.

Inside Summerdream

Down below the saloon is light and commodious with a well-appointed galley and a large saloon table which can comfortably accommodate up to ten people. The cabin layout is brilliantly flexible with two rear double cabins, one of which can be split into a twin. Forward there are two further double cabins one of which has a Pullman bed that can fold down to create a bunk cabin if required. Finally there are four toilets meaning each cabin is ensuite. A separate skipper’s cabin is located in the bow of the yacht and is accessed from the deck.

All in all, the Jeanneau 57 is a fine yacht. It will suit families or groups who are looking for a luxurious and versatile sailing yacht.

At the base you are required to provide an Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA), which is currently 20% of the charter price. APA is like a ‘boat kitty’ that covers the variable expenses relating to fuel, water, food, beverages, alcoholic drinks and port fees. It is used by the staff to make payments during the holiday without disturbing you. Any remaining APA will be returned at the end of the charter, equally if expenses incurred exceed the APA paid then the additional expense is requested at the end of the charter.
