Marina di Cannigione sits at the head of the sheltered Gulf of Arzachena on Sardinia’s northeast coast. Rather than one large, self-contained marina complex, the harbour area is made up of several pontoons and boating facilities alongside the waterfront village. Cannigione itself has a relaxed seaside atmosphere, with restaurants, bars, shops and boutiques within easy reach of the berths. The marina is naturally protected by the surrounding gulf and offers a more low-key setting than nearby Porto Cervo. Its location also places guests within easy reach of the Costa Smeralda and the clear waters and islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago.

Marina di Cannigione is an excellent starting point for a catamaran charter in northeast Sardinia, particularly for itineraries centred on the La Maddalena Archipelago. From the Gulf of Arzachena, you can head north towards islands including Caprera, Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria and Razzoli, with their sheltered coves, beaches and clear anchorages. To the south, the Costa Smeralda offers stops around Baja Sardinia and Porto Cervo, while longer charters can cross the Strait of Bonifacio towards southern Corsica. Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is the nearest airport, with the transfer to Cannigione generally taking around 40 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic and transfer arrangements. The marina's position means you can reach the main cruising grounds without a long first passage, making it particularly practical for a one-week charter.
