Sivota Bay, Lefkas
Sivota Bay is a sheltered, horseshoe-shaped inlet on the southern coast of Lefkada, surrounded by green hills and small coves. The waterfront village is compact and centred around the harbour, with tavernas, cafés, shops and supermarkets close to the pontoons. Its calm, picturesque setting gives it a very different feel from the larger charter bases at Lefkada Town. Yachts are moored around the bay, with waterfront restaurants creating a lively atmosphere during the summer. For charter guests, Sivota is particularly appealing if you prefer stepping straight from the yacht into a small Greek village rather than a large marina complex.

Sivota Bay is well positioned for a catamaran holiday exploring the southern Ionian. From the bay, you can head north towards Meganisi and the eastern coast of Lefkada, or south towards Kastos, Kalamos, Ithaca and Kefalonia. Longer itineraries can continue towards Zakynthos, while routes north can eventually reach Paxos and Corfu. The sheltered waters around Lefkada offer plenty of opportunities for swimming, anchoring and exploring small bays, with relatively short passages between many destinations. A catamaran is particularly well suited to this style of cruising, providing plenty of space for relaxing between stops. Sivota is also conveniently positioned for airport transfers, with Aktion/Preveza Airport roughly an hour away by road.

Sivota Bay is not a large full-service marina, so facilities are spread between the individual pontoons and the village. Charter bases provide access to their own pontoons and support services, while supermarkets and local shops in Sivota make provisioning straightforward. Restaurants, cafés and bars line the waterfront, giving crews plenty of choice for meals without leaving the bay. Showers and other basic facilities are available through individual charter operators, while fuel can be arranged locally. One advantage is the compact nature of the village: most everyday requirements are within easy walking distance of the yachts. Pre-ordered supermarket deliveries can also be arranged by some charter operators, which is particularly useful when preparing a catamaran for departure.
