Marina Naviera Balear occupies a central position on Palma’s waterfront, along the Paseo Marítimo and close to many of the city’s restaurants, shops and hotels. With around 95 berths for charter vessels, it is a relatively compact marina with a practical, yacht-focused atmosphere. Its location is a major part of its appeal: instead of being separated from the city, the marina sits directly within Palma’s busy waterfront area. The historic centre, cathedral and neighbourhoods such as Santa Catalina are all within easy reach, giving crews plenty to explore before setting sail. It offers a convenient balance between a central city base and direct access to Mallorca’s surrounding cruising grounds.

Marina Naviera Balear is a useful starting point for a sailing yacht holiday around Mallorca, with Palma Bay providing an easy point of departure. You can head west towards the rugged Tramuntana coastline and Port d’Andratx, or sail south and east towards beaches, coves and quieter stretches of the island’s coast. Longer charters may include Cabrera National Park or explore further around Mallorca, while neighbouring Balearic islands can also form part of an extended itinerary where conditions and charter arrangements allow. Palma Airport is only a short transfer away, which makes arrival and departure particularly convenient. Being based in the centre of Palma also means crews can enjoy the city, organise provisions and complete last-minute preparations before leaving the marina.
